All announcements to teaches are also sent electronically.

At the end of every day teachers power down their classrooms, switching off computers, unplugging microwaves and printers.
Teachers all help with recycling and everyone has a recycling container in their classroom.
The school has decided to work on removing Bermuda grass and install wood chip pathways.
Almost every classroom and hallway has potted plants to increase the air quality. Teachers maintain the plants through the summer each year and return in the fall with more plants.
